The new trailer for the seventh series of Doctor Who has arrived. BBC and BBC America have unveiled the new 90 second trailer featuring extended looks at the first two episodes of the season as well as what’s to come.
Most of the trailer focuses on the first two episodes, Asylum of the Daleks and Dinosaurs on a Spaceship. The seventh series stars Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, and Arthur Darville. The look at the Weeping Angels is especially foreboding considering that episode marks the departure of Amy and Rory for good this time. There’s also a quick glimpse of River Song and The Master gets name dropped!
If this trailer is any indication of things to come, then it seems Stephen Moffat was correct in stating that this season would be a Hollywood block-buster style episode every week. Also posted before the trailer’s debut was this thrilling image of The Doctor carrying Amy through a gauntlet of every type of Dalek imaginable. You can notice a Dalek similar to their very first appearance way back in 1963 as well as an 80′s Special Weapons Dalek. What do you think of the trailer? Are you getting excited about the premiere at an undisclosed time later this year??
