Alex Ross Provides A Stunning Variant Cover For The New DAREDEVIL #1
After Marvel tried their best to make people believe they were really ending Daredevil with issue #36 from the superstar creative team of Mark Waid and Chris Samnee, they finally revealed yesterday that the series would indeed be relaunching in 2014. The new Daredevil series will kick off in March and will see Matt Murdock in San Francisco. As we wait to see Waid and Samnee end their volume, continue things with a digital series Road Warrior, and then launch the new title, we’ve gotten a look at a stunning variant cover for the new first issue from Alex Ross.
It was revealed earlier this month that comic book icon Alex Ross would be returning to Marvel to provide covers throughout the year to celebrate the publisher’s 75th anniversary starting with Avengers #25 in January. His March cover will be for Daredevil and CBR had the first look. You can see part of the character’s origins playing out int the ripples of his radar sense. What do you think of Ross‘ latest Marvel cover?
