Alanna Masterson Joins The Walking Dead In A Novel New Role
The Walking Dead adds another new cast member this season in the form of Alanna Masterson. Deadline is reporting the actress will be joining the hit AMC series in a recurring role with an option to become a regular in season 5. That bit of news does spoil the fact she will survive the entirety of season 4. While it is a recurring role, Masterson won’t appear until the middle of the season as a new survivor. Details are her character are scarce at this time, but it’s rumored that Masterson could be playing Tara Chalmers. The character was introduced in The Walking Dead novel Rise Of The Governor by Robert Kirkman and Jay Bonansinga. Masterson, the half-sister of Danny and Christopher Masterson, may be known to some for her time on The Young & The Restless. What do you think about Masterson coming aboard for the new season? Do you hope the Rise of the Governor story with the Chalmers‘ plays out on screen?
