AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.: Joe Quesada Draws Fitz’s Monkey
The official Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Twitter account shared a special piece of artwork today. Marvel Comics‘ head honcho Joe Quesada made an original piece, with colors by Paul Mounts, celebrating actor Iain De Caestecker’s birthday today. The original piece shows Agent Fitz kind of getting that monkey he wanted in an early episode of the series. Not only is this a nice little joke about the show to celebrate one of the star’s birthdays, it is also the first time we’ve seen a character from the show (other than Agent Coulson but he doesn’t really count in that regard) rendered by a Marvel artist. Maybe this will open the door and allow some of the other Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to appear in an actual comic book now. What do you think about Quesada‘s gift to Fitz? Would you like to see him or any of the other Agents appear in an actual comic book?
