Adan Canto’s SUNSPOT Features In The Latest DAYS OF FUTURE PAST Character Portrait

It seems Fox and the X-Men social media pages are back on their daily schedule. Yesterday we got a character portrait for Shawn Ashmore‘s Iceman and today Adan Canto gets the spotlight as Sunspot. We can add that to the previously seen portraits of Storm, Bishop, Kitty Pryde, the Magnetos, the Xaviers, Colossus, and Warpath. Like I said before, when this is all said and done we can make a yearbook for the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters. While there probably isn’t much schooling going on in the Sentinel controlled future, we’ll still count them all as pupils.

We haven’t seen much of Sunspot other than his Empire cover and a quick shot in the trailer of Canto standing around, so it’s nice to see him up close and personnel. It seems he’s a bit battle damaged or maybe his powers have a side effect of leaving him a little scorched. What do you think of our best look at Sunspot yet? X-Men: Days of Future Past hits theaters May 23rd.

The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The beloved characters from the original “X-Men” film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from “X-Men: First Class,” in an epic battle that must change the past — to save our future.
