Avengers fans, if you loved the movie like we did(check our reviews for the movie), you will now be even more excited. If you loved watching the movie, you probably wanted to live that too, but unfortunately there wasn’t a tie-in console video game coinciding with the film’s release, because well, the THQ Australian studio, which was responsible for bringing it, was shut down before the game could see the light of the day. But no worries! Good news, no, excellent news surfaced today via Fusible.
The Avengers video game looks to have a title — Avengers: Battle for Earth.
On May 3, 2012, a day before the film was released in the United States, the domain name avengersbattleforearth.com (Whois) was registered through the brand protection company MarkMonitor.
The name was registered by Marvel Characters, Inc. and is currently listed on Ubisoft’s nameservers: nic1.ubisoft.com and nic2.ubisoft.com.

Apparently the same video game studio responsible for successful games such as the Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell, Assassin’s Creed and the Prince Of Persia franchises will be working on the upcoming video game, which now may have a chance to be a great hit. Stay tuned on CBT to more news on Avengers: Battle for Earth.
