A Plethora Of New Images From Thor: The Dark World Have Been Released
In just over two month’s time, the sequel to Marvel’s other-worldly hit film Thor will be flying into theaters. Fro the trailers we’ve seen, the tone of the film seems to be on the darker side. Pair that along with the leaked footage from this year’s comic con that surfaced a few weeks ago, and it looks as though director Alan Taylor will be taking things in a much different direction. With the arrival of the Dark Elf Malkith, our hero must recruit his brother Loki to help him fight the coming battle. Threats, nay, promises have been made by Thor that if he is double-crossed, Loki will pay with his life. Not to mention Jane Foster is brought to Asgard by Thor to protect her, but that may not have been the best move. Sounds pretty intense, right?
Today comes the release of numerous high quality images from StitchKingdom (via CBM) that show off some of the concept art for the film, as well as some fantastic images of the film’s baddy, Malekith, Of course, you also have a good look at Thor, Loki, Sif, Jane and her earthly friends, as well as a few more goodies. Thor: The Dark World is set to hit theaters November 8th. The film sees Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, , Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Christopher Eccleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano, Jaimie Alexander and Rene Russo. Game of Thrones director Alan Taylor is a the helm this go-round.
