A New Booster Gold Solo Series Seems To Be On The Horizon
It looks like everyone’s favorite super hero from the future named Booster Gold will be getting his new solo series in the near future. Bleeding Cool is reporting they’ve heard from a few people that we should expect a new series staring the golden one in “the imminent future.”
They haven’t heard anything about the concept or the creators who will bring the new comic to life, but Booster has definitely been seeded in recent stories. He had an appearance in Justice League International and has a big role in All-Star Western bringing Jonah Hex to the present, so the man has been getting around. Bob Wayne was reported as saying at this weekend’s MCM London Expo, in regards to Booster’s recent team-up with Jonah Hex, that DC wants “a different flavor and spice.” Now let’s put on our speculation hats. Geoff Johns has recently stepped away from Green Lantern and it’s rumored he may take time away from Justice League, so could the superstar writer step in and get the series going? Booster is a fan-favorite character, but Johns name on the cover would definitely help. What do you think?
