Five more Marvel NOW! creative teams have been unveiled. Adding to the already announced Thor, Iron Man, and Hulk titles is Captain America, Fantastic Four, Future Foundation, Deadpool, and X-Men Legacy. CBR has collected all the announcements made through various sites. IGN, IFanboy, and MTV unveiled one teaser card each.
First up is Rick Remender and John Romita Jr. on Captain America. The team will take over for Ed Brubaker, who has had an impressive 9 year run.
Taking over for Hickman on Fantastic Four is Matt Fraction and Mark Bagley. The Future Foundation won’t be left out though, the other school for gifted youngsters will be handled by Matt Fraction and Mike Allred. Fraction will follow in Hickman’s steps and helm both Four and Foundation.
Team Deadpool is next. Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld caused a bit of a stir over some comments he made on Twitter about Deadpool creative teams, saying Marvel put their “D-List” on the book over the years. While I’m not sure Liefeld is the best judge of talent, the new Deadpool team is pretty impressive. Comedian and all-around Nerd Brian Posehn and Gerry Duggan will write with Tony Moore on art.
Finally, X-Men Legacy will be continuing with Simon Spurrier writing and Tan Eng Huat on art.
With teases coming out daily for Marvel NOW!, it is just a matter of time until we have the full line-up for all the relaunched books. What do you think of all the new creative teams? Is Marvel winning you over with all their announcements?
