31 in 31: Day 15 "The Thing"

31 in 31: Day 15 “The Thing”

Unfortunately a day late, but nonetheless I bring you day 15 of 31 in 31 and today’s movie is one that I saw in theaters just two days ago. Directed by Matthiis van Heijningen Jr. and written by Eric Heisserer, and based upon the short story ‘Who Goes There” by John W. Campbell Jr. “The Thing” just now out in theaters is, in my opinion, a great sequel to what is one of the best horror films to date “John Carpenters The Thing.”

Opening up upon an accidental find scientists pull up something that changes everything though about aliens, but soon find out that even through what they can find out it’s definitely not what they expected. With mystery, some gore, and a few surprises added to everything I hoped this movie would be. It’s a definite Halloween movie, and a fun watch to boot.
